SEVEN INCH SPAM. basically a cool ass dude at a record store in wilmington used to recommend a bunch of seven inches to me and my friends every time we would go in there in high school. i have a stack of about 20 of bands i’ve never heard of because of that dude. here are the ones that stuck out to me when i listened. by request of the-satanic-satanist.
del lagunas- really sick classic sounding surf rock.
emiLy- weird almost hardcore. really interesting listen.
four rose society- sick kinda post hardcore, kinda hardcore. favorite one of the stack. listened to it 3 times in a row.
the gimmicks- BANGIN’ garage rock. so killer.
kill city- X inspired girl/guy punk, really solid.
the morning shakes- one side is a garage punk jammer and then one side has a straight hardcore tune. weird. good.
P.E.Z.- some dude from K records i’ve never heard of, it was really good, sounded like something that would be on K records.
stuntmen- really solid just straight up punk
the wayward- soild punk again.
so yeah, these were the best ones of the stack. if anyone has heard of any of these let me know, i wanna talk about these! also if anyone ever stumbles on a four rose society record, pick that shit up ASAP.
